Term 3 Free Event

Big Little Day Out with Rock 'n' Toddle

 

Friday 16th August saw about 30 Bayswater playgroupie families attend our free Term 3 event.

 

 

We made and decorated our own tambourines and bongo shakers

 

 

 and then got into the groove with

Esmeralda Sparkles and Roxy the Rock Star

from Rock 'n' Toddle. 

 

 

Our mini moshers had a chance to dance,

 

 

listen to a story

 

 

and even had their own rock star moment free styling on the mic!

Many thanks to those that helped organise the morning, and the team at Rock 'n' Toddle for bringing us their fantastic show at a heavily reduced rate.  Vouchers to attend a free Rock 'n' Toddle session were handed out to all that attended and some were left in pigeon holes for other members to utilise.

Term 3 Event

Get your dancing shoes on and your best air guitar ready as we present Rock 'n' Toddle as the headline act at our

Term 3 Event.

For those that do not know Rock 'n' Toddle are professional performers who provide energetic and interactive performances for the under 5’s, simulating a ‘gig’ experience. You can find out more about them on their website http://www.rockntoddle.com.au/. They are even offering 'Playgroupies' a 20% off any Term 3 enrolments.

So get ready to rock the socks off your mini moshers!'

Please add your name on the sign up sheet when you see it at Playgroup.

Bayswater Family Centre Open Day

 

 

This month we helped the Bayswater Family Centre celebrate their 20th Anniversary.  Events such as these are a great chance to bring the community together.  It is also an opportunity for us to showcase the Bayswater Playgroup and all our wonderful resources that we can offer the community.

 

We opened our playroom and outdoor areas with activities of a German and Japanese theme, celebrating our German and Japanese groups. Our Japanese families have been meeting at Playgroup for 10 years!

 

Many thanks to all who stopped by to visit, our volunteers who helped out on the day, and in particular the families from our Japanese group for their sushi making demonstrations and tastings.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to the Bayswater Playgroup Christmas Party! Thanks to our committee members for donating their time (and sausage sizzling parents) to ensure it was one of the best ever! Joanna Buddee, events coordinator to the stars, you are awesome!

Thanks outgoing committee members, myself included, we are leaving behind a legacy of fun and community spirit! Long may it continue! Bayswater Playgroup ROCKS!
